In the Spirit: Northwest Native Arts Market & Festival August 7, 2010

The Washington State History Museum and the Longhouse Education and Cultural Center at The Evergreen State College are proud to present the fifth annual “In the Spirit: Northwest Native Arts Market and Festival,” happening in the History Museum’s Outdoor Amphitheater and Plaza.
Check out some of the best Northwest carvers, printmakers, weavers, and other artisans selling exquisite artwork. Catch performances of Native singers, musicians, and dance groups from local tribes throughout the weekend. Winners of the In the Spirit “People’s Choice,” “Honoring our Ancestors,” and “Honoring Tradition” awards will be announced at the conclusion of the Festival.
