"In the (Holiday) Mood" December 14, 2010

Enjoy live holiday entertainment as The Henrico Pops Chorus presents “In the (Holiday) Mood”, a free concert for all ages. It will take place December 14 and 15, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen. The one hour program will present the season's best-loved songs of Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa as well as popular pieces such as “In the Mood”, (holiday style) and fresh, new versions of old favorites like “Silent Night”. Bobbie Moore will direct the 75 member mixed chorus with accompaniment provided by Sarah Cauthorn, piano, Beth Tracy, keyboard, Matt Sheehan, drums , Robert Blaylock, bass guitar. The program will include guest appearances by Quentin Hicks, violin, dancers from the Ann Catherine Cross School of Dance and the Children’s Choir from St. Mary’s School. This sometiimes serious, sometimes zany holiday program will be sure to delight you.
