In the Cataclysmic Calm May 24, 2009

This exhibition, conceived by Randall Stout Architects (RSA), will allow viewers to gain insight into how this spectacular new museum was conceived and constructed, investigate the various planning and thinking strategies were involved in its inception and witness the completion of the ground-breaking 6-year journey. Audiences will be able to view time-lapse films of the building's rise from a vacant site to the finished structure, explore the drawings and models produced by RSA as they designed the building and it began to unfold, and experience up close a section of the roof that is as sculptural as the building itself.
