In Search of Woodcock April 14, 2009

Woodcock are a type of bird with a stunning aerial display used by the males to impress the females each spring. We will venture to the edge of open fields to catch a glimpse of these amazing birds. Bring your binoculars (or borrow ours); you won’t want to miss a thing! Please meet us in the main parking lot, we may travel by caravan to the best viewing location elsewhere on KNC property. Outdoor, exploratory program for adults and older children.
