Salute Wine Bar & Café (46 E. Superior St.) presents to whiskey lovers and patrons, The Man Tastings, proving there is more to Salute than its incredible wine selection. Ladies are not to be fooled by the title – all are more than welcome to partake in this one-of-a-kind tasting. The series, created in honor of Whiskeyfest, will debut Tuesday, April 6, and will continue every Tuesday throughout the month from 7 to 10 p.m.
Offering a plethora of whiskey and tequila samples to satisfy and relish, from smooth to smokey, invigorating to subtle, Salute will offer “bouquets,” “bodies,” and “finishes,” to satisfy all. The events will be specially designed so that patrons can fully appreciate the selection and understand the tasting methodology. Whisky Master Thomas Thacker from Wirtz Beverage and Tequila Specialist John Andrews will be on hand to educate patrons with their extensive knowledge on the selected varieties.
Each event costs an affordable $10, with the money saving option to purchase the event series for $30. The event line-up is as follows:
