Pianist and composer Imogen Heap returns stateside to support 'Ellipse,' her followup to 2005's 'Speak for Yourself.' Heap first came to attention stateside with her 1998 debut, 'I, Megaphone' which yielded a minor hit with 'Come Here Boy.' A classically trained pianist, Heap's breathy and versitle voice fit with her forays into electronica and Kate Bush/Tori Amos-ish balladry. Heap partnered in 2001 with producer Guy Sigsworth as Frou Frou, which gathered steam with the singles 'Breathe In' and 'Must Be Dreaming' as well as a cover of 'Holding Out for a Hero' on the 'Shrek 2,' soundtrack. Heap's 'Goodnight and Go' and 'Hide and Seek' were featured on Fox's 'The O.C.' and her song 'Can't Take It In' earned Heap a Grammy nomination.
