Pianist and composer Imogen Heap first came to attention stateside with her 1998 debut, 'I, Megaphone' which yielded a minor hit with 'Come Here Boy.' A classically trained pianist, Heap's breathy and versitle voice fit with her forays into electronica and Kate Bush/Tori Amos-ish balladry. Heap partnered in 2001 with producer Guy Sigsworth as Frou Frou, which gathered steam with the singles 'Breathe In' and 'Must Be Dreaming' as well as a cover of 'Holding Out for a Hero' on the 'Shrek 2,' soundtrack. Heap's 'Goodnight and Go' was featured on Fox's 'The O.C.' and made it onto the hit show's 'O.C. Mix 4' compilation.
