ArtHatch presents the 2nd Annual art exhibit devoted to hot rods and customs of distinction, “IMMORTALIZED: Now and Then”, an art exhibit and auction that will feature some of the most prominent car artists to date including Big Toe, Sara Ray, Squindo, Chris Froggert, and more. All artworks will be auctioned of starting at only $100, the auction will last through the month ending on September 1st. In conjunction, Escondido’s famous “Crusin’ Grand” will have an incredible group of cars lined up and parked in front of the gallery. The event will draw custom car owners from around the country including many who have invested over $500,000 into their cars. The Opening Reception will be held on Friday, August 10th, 2012 from 6-10pm highlighted with pin up girls from Cuties for a Cause passing out goodies, STONE beer, catered food, and live music. Cost will be $15 ($10 advance tickets) for the event, with proceeds to benefit ArtHatch (501(c)(3) organization) and Palomar College scholarships. Advance VIP Tickets will be available for $35, this includes a full preview of the show, a private reception with the artists from 5-6pm, food, drinks and prizes. ArtHatch is a 7000 square foot building which houses the front gallery: exhibitions changing monthly, "The Alley," featuring new and previous works from over 75 artists, the teen room featuring artwork by 6 local teens, 14 artist studios, ranging in size from 150 to 800 square feet, featuring the work of over 28 local artists, and "The Lounge", containing 8 walls featuring local artists. The front gallery features contemporary and cutting edge artwork.
A variety of art books, prints, and collectors dolls are now available as well as an in house art supply store.

*in 2010 we received our 501(c)(3) status and became known as ArtHatch. Management remains the same, but we will soon be expanding our programs even further. We are also now able to accept donations in exchange for a tax receipt, which if successful, will help us remain in existence.
