I'm doing a presentation/catalogue launch of an installation and workshop series I did last fall at the birdo space in Japan. It was called I Love Heart. “where in Japan?” in many ways, the birdo space is like the sister space to Blim!

I found out about the birdo space by discovering a small catalogue whilst volunteering at Blim (something pale pink)! AND the main component of my installation was inspired by yoga STICKERS I found at Blim (and wanted to steal — the stickers were found in tokyo)… back and forth, forth and back, so you see how appropriate this all is.

Aya Takada of birdo flugas and i have been working on this catalogue for months now thru MSN. She's in Japan. Sydney Vermont wrote an incredible essay for the catalogue while she was in Spain. Lisa Prentice conducted an interview while here in Vancouver. Ted Bois the journeyman took many of the photos in the catalogue. He lives up the street from Blim and is available.

I truly hope the catalogue will be here in time for the presentation… If not — I'm taking names.

I have invited Rose Melberg to sing some of her beautiful songs. Rose came by my table at the valentine Blim market and told me if she did a show, she would like it to be at Blim… so I kept that in mind. And Yuriko Iga/Bunny Soldier will be doing her very own presentation — showing her favourite cartoons while hosting some bingo.
