ICU Care Bundle Seminar December 12, 2008

The critical care setting is one of the most complex. Critical care units must manage the intersecting challenges of maintaining a high-tech environment and ensuring staff competency in operating the equipment, providing high-quality care to the facility's sickest patients, and tending to the needs of staff members working in a very stressful environment.

ICU Care Bundle is a standard regime in caring for ICU patients. However, more and more hospitals are now looking at enhancing this concept to include totality of care for both patients and staff.

This half day seminar is aimed at re-educating and inculcating strict compliance with handwashing, wearing a cap, mask, sterile gown and gloves.
