In honor of the Age of Mammals opening, we had a new guest join us this year. Check out the Museum's new life-sized saber-toothed cat puppet, and the Museum's new Encounters stage! Time travel back to the Ice Age, when giant cats with long teeth roamed and hunted in Southern California. Ice Age Encounters is about a big cat doing her best to survive and take care of her young, as told by the Excavators from the Page Museum at the La Brea Tar Pits. Please note, this is not a small hand puppet. The Museum's puppets are very large, realistic interpretations of wild animals. Please prepare and attend to small children accordingly. Ice Age Encounters is family friendly, interactive, and realistic enough to take your breath away.
