IAP2/NCDD Northern California joint meetup December 16, 2008

Joint Northern California chapter meeting of the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) and the National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD).

There's significant overlap in interests, tools, and experiences, and we want to broaden our local network of local facilitation, public participation, and dialogue & deliberation professionals.

The agenda is fairly informal. There will be brief talks or presentations, with plenty of time for conversation and networking.

December agenda:

1) Presentation from Micah Circe on his work
2) Presentation from Raines Cohen -- a hands-on demonstration of Institute for Cultural Affairs Technology of Participation (ICA ToP) methods
3) Round table discussion of what people found interesting at the October NCDD Conference
4) Anything else people are interested in

We will have a light snacks and wine available; we will be asking for donations of probably $10-$20 to cover food/drink.
