Join the Exhibit Museum for a 20-minute interactive demonstration exploring some of the evidence of mastodon hunting by the people who lived in Michigan about 12,000 years ago, during the last Ice Age. Families will discover how archaeologists study artifacts and learn about the evidence of interactions between people and mastodons. Finally, families will be able to make their own cast of a Clovis point - a tool that may have been used in the hunting of mastodons - to see how museum scientists reproduce important artifacts.
