The Hungry Ear, the free library program that celebrates the art of the short story, is pleased to present two terrific and timely tales for its May program. Stories, read by members of The Hungry Ear Company, are "The Obituary" by Sherman Alexis, about what it's like to be an obituary writer, and "The Submission" by Amy Waldman, a tale of a surprise winner of a 911 memorial design. Come and be transported. We call it 'a cocktail hour for the mind!' For further information, call the Library at 607-778-6400. This program is free and open to the public.
