Hundreds of Original Handmade Items for Holiday Gift Giving at Sherwway Gardens Hometown Fair October 20, 2010

Hundreds of handmade items including woodwork, baby blankets, quilts, ornaments, toys, preserves and baked goods will be featured during Sherway Gardens' annual Hometown Fair, running Thursday October 21 and Friday October 22 from 10am – 9pm and Saturday October 23 from 9:30am – 6pm. This year more than 25 community groups will participate in Hometown Fair. Some of these groups include the Thistletown Woodchucks, Franklin Horner Community Centre, St. Paul the Apostle Craft Group, Kipling Acres Volunteers and Albion Gardens Presbyterian Church.

100% of the proceeds from Sherway Gardens annual Hometown Fair go directly to the participants to support local church and seniors groups, community centres, and other non-profit organizations in the community.
