Issues of British human rights and European law affecting, for example, the rights of a
prisoner to artificial insemination, and the rights to treatment of single persons and same
sex couples. What attention should be paid to traditional family forms in considering the
welfare of babies who may be born as a result of treatment? What right does the law have to
stop anyone having a baby with the help of technology? Do children need a father and a
mother?
