Inspired by the remarkable true biography of a northern troublemaker turned African adventurer, Human Remains fuses object animation with rich visual and movement languages to pull story from history and tug at the edges of your memory. 

From the austerities of post-war Manchester to the grit and glamour of Africa's silver mines and ballrooms, through teeming breeding fields of locust plagues and the desert wastes of tribal lands, Human Remains evokes worlds long lost and half remembered through actual objects and real (or are they?) accounts.

In a world where inanimate belongings are built to outlive us all, what stories wait hidden in one man's legacy of Things?
