WOAH NELLY!
This is going to be one hell of a slap bang do dang, down yonder at Public Assembly! Since you've been missing us since September's rave-up at Union Pool, we're back with the biggest hoodoo we've thrown since last November's GPNYC party at Don Pedro.
This is an all day and night event... the schedule is as follows:
...
2PM
The doors swing wide open, allowing you access to a collection of fine local merchants such as Mystery Train Vintage and Honeychiles (for some sweet'n'salty vittles!), and your free copy of Bananas issue #2, available for the first time anywhere at this event!
3PM - 6PM The lovely Terre T kicks off her live broadcast of Cherry Blossom Clinic from Public Assembly... besides the usual rockin' platters and witty banter, Terre will introduce Garage Supergroup The Split Signals and Brooklyn's own Beat/R'n'B combo the Above for live sets on her show! Your screams of delight will carried LIVE on the airwaves across a wide swath of the tri-state!
6PM-8PM DJs TBC continue the dance party with an extra special gimmicky offer... (stay tuned!)
9PM-12:30AM The live action rolls on! Hop a night flight with:
- THE JIGGLERS - Backdoor Stan's best band yet-- honkin' sax trash rock!
- THE APE HANGERS - the debut show by Brooklyn's newest surf/instrumental group featuring members of Siberians, Big Fun, the Othermen and more!
- THE INSOMNIACS - New Jersey's finest Get Hip garage/poppers return to Brooklyn after a long absence
- THE BACK C.C.'S - Chimp 'em up! Our favorite bunch of wily Japanese will bring the house down with their unique brand of youthful riot music!
12:30AM-3AM Those left standing will dance their feet to a bloody pulp to the pounding rhythms of thee finest 45s this side of the East River from DJs Shimmy, Charles Gaskins and guest DJ TBA.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
