Tacita Dean's oeuvre includes such diverse mediums as drawing, sound and found photographs, but she is perhaps best known for her compelling 16mm films. While focusing on architectural relics, portraiture, history and memory, these films also investigate cinematic mechanisms and materials. This exhibition presents three works: 'Kodak,' 'Noir et Blanc,' and 'Found Obsolescence' that address the medium of celluloid film, a format that is becoming increasingly scarce as it is replaced by digital alternatives.
