The 2009 inaugural show featured 15 acres of state of the art lighting that illuminated and transformed the gardens into an enchanted winter wonderland. With special attractions such as an animal parade, a flock of electric sheep with ever-changing algorithm projections, a winter garden railroad with jeweled cars, and a synchronized and choreographed light show atop the craziest holiday house around, Hudson Holiday is not your typical holiday light show. Designed by MOA Wizard in Residence, Lonnie Hanzon, Hudson Holiday has been described as a technically and aesthetically unique experience that combines whimsy, extravagance, nostalgia and sensory overload with holiday cheer to create a dazzling light display. The installation also features horse drawn carriage rides around the gardens and the magical frost island as well as other family-friendly attractions. The 2010 installation will feature cutting edge technologies, several new attractions and additions to last year's favorite sites.
