Homebuyer Seminar
This seminar is designed to educate future buyers in the various aspects of the homebuying process andguide them towards successful homeownership.
The following topics will be covered during the seminar:

The importance of budgeting

Understanding credit and credit scores

How to qualify foramortgage

Down payment assistance programs

Fair housing issues

Working with a real estate professional

Homeowner's insurance

Home inspections vs. Home appraisals

Plus, information about HUD-owned homes in Georgia

The event is free and lunch will be provided to all attendees. The seminar, presented by a HUD-approved buyer's counselorin cooperation with HUD-PEMCO, will bepresented in the HUD-approved format and all participants will receive a Certificate of Completion. Attendees can use this certificate to qualify for government-sponsored down payment assistance programs,discounts,and loans.
