How to find your Civil War and War of 1812 ancestors April 28, 2012

On Saturday April 28th at 11 AM, in celebration of preservation week, Seymour Library will be hosting Port Byron Historian Dawn Roe who will present a PowerPoint presentation illustrating how to search for your civil war and War of 1812 ancestors.

Utilizing public databases and historical documents, Dawn will feature examples where military records have broken those brick walls we all encounter when searching for our roots.

This class will be held in the reference room on the main floor.
