How many couples wait to address issues in their relationship until life becomes overwhelming? Here's an opportunity to nurture and deepen your relationship before there is a fire to put it out!
Brooklyn NVC is offering an upcoming couples retreat on June 25-27, 2010 with the aim of creating an opportunity for each couple to breathe more freely, more widely and deeply, for each person. This is an invitation to take responsibility for our well-being and thus to have more space to be attentive to our partner’s needs. We are hoping to foster more awareness of non-constructive habitual patterns, while offering viable and exciting alternatives. Please join us for this empowering and connecting weekend!

What is Nonviolent Communication (NVC)?
NVC is a way of living as well as a practical tool that offers transferable skills in communication based on Gandhian principles of Nonviolence. NVC is unique to other models because the core of the practice is universal human needs/values as the basis to connection with self and others. By focusing on shared values and then moving on to strategies, we can find solutions that are more satisfying, effective, and empowering.
