“How to Craft Your Job Search Campaign” August 23, 2011

Lauren Milligan will speak on August 23rd in the St. Mary Immaculate Parish Faith Sharing Room. We’re located at 15629 South Rt. 59 in Plainfield.

Lauren is the head Resume Expert and Job Coach at ResuMAYDAY, a one-stop-shop for Career Management and Career Development. For more information, visit www.ResuMAYDAY.com. Lauren regularly contributes to The NY Times, CNN.com, CareerBuilder, and Monster.com, WLS and WGN radio, ABC News or other media outlets that cover the employment market.

Lauren will discuss “How to Craft your Job Search Campaign” including quick and easy methods to drastically improve your resume in 30 seconds or less and 'behind the scenes secrets' of recruiters and hiring managers - and what they really look for in a resume.

If you are new to networking, come at 6:30 pm for an introduction to networking tools like the Handbill and the Elevator Speech. Ms. Milligan will speak shortly after 7:00 pm.

You can also meet with our volunteer coaches (each an experienced hiring manager) for a one-on-one "Work Session" to get your resume and handbill reviewed, develop networking & interviewing skills, or talk with a coach about spiritual/emotional/financial help needs. There is no cost to attend, pre-registration is not required, and everyone is welcome. Dress is casual.
