Did you know that the human brain has more than one billion cells? Have you ever wondered what parts of the brain perform certain functions and what you could do to improve them? Join us for an enlightening evening with Dr. Pierre Fayad from UNMC as he explores “How the Brain Works” and gives us advice on how to get the most out of each cell! Dr. Pierre Fayad is the Reynolds Centennial Professor and Chairman of the Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Also, visit the museum’s summer exhibition Mindbender Mansion. Created by the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, Mindbender Mansion is an eclectic place full of brainteasers and interactive challenges guaranteed to test the brain power and problem solving skills of even the most experienced puzzlers.
