How Secure Are Your Smartphone Apps? September 18, 2012

As enterprises realize the efficiency in which employees operate by using mobile apps and allowing employees to bring their own smartphones, a merging of enterprise and consumer use presents real risks to the enterprise. We will discuss a number of mobile attack scenarios that may compromise enterprise data and present to you how attackers may try to get at information within smartphones. These scenarios will be based on real-life case studies involving applications using the latest mobile technologies, including NFC.
This presentation introduces specific mobile threats as business problems first and then sets the stage for some more technical discussion, and should be of interest to both a technical audience and management attendees.
