McGonigel's Mucky Duck is the premier live acoustic venue in Houston. Listed by Billboard magazine as one of the "top twenty" acoustic venues in America. Big-time Texas folkies like Alejandro Escovedo and Toni Price frequently play there (Lyle Lovett even popped in once as surprise support for Terry Allen and Guy Clark), as well as national acts like Dar Williams and Gillian Welch.

On June 21 Patrice Pike will be playing at The Mucky Duck and you will have to pay $15 to see her in concert but we can see her for FREE from 6:30pm till 8:30pm when McGonigel's Mucky Duck presents her.

After Patrice Pike concert The Mucky Duck will continue their twenty-five year tradition, hosting Houston's Irish Session. A great way to explore Irish music and tradition.
