From Maine to Georgia, extraordinary men came together to sign the Declaration of Independence and write the Constitution. We know where Jefferson and Washington lived, but what about the others? In his book Houses of the Founding Fathers, historic architecture expert Hugh Howard tells the stories of 40 homes built by well-known figures like those Virginians as well as Alexander Hamilton and lesser-known men such as William Drayton and Jeremiah Lee. Howard speaks at the Kitzinger Community Room in the James City County Library, 7770 Croaker Road, Norge on Thursday, June 19 at 7 p.m. The program is free and reservations are not needed. Call 259-4050 for more information or visit www.wrl.org.
