The House of Moses, a Middletown-based six-member R&B band, will be setting the tempo at the Buttonwood Tree and that means the “House” will be rockin’.
The House’s high-energy rhythms and vocal harmonies represent a fusion of early Motown, 60′s r&b, 70′s funk, glazed with some contemporary rock/jazz icing. “The House” is fronted by singer-songwriter Randy Moses (vocals, guitar, keys) and his two brothers Fred (vocals, blues harp, percussion) and Thomas (vocals, percussion), and driven by the rhythm section of Mick Bolduc (lead/rhythm guitars, vocals), Peter Hadley (bass guitar), and Tim Gaylord (drums, vocals).
The “House” repetoire consists largely of original compositions written by Randy, with a variety of classic r&b and pop tunes, all of whicho keep audiences movin’,… on their feet or in their chairs.
Everyone in the “House” is a Middletown resident and have been musically active around here for a long time, so one never knows who else might drop in to simply say Hi or even sit in.
Don’t miss the chance to rock Main Street….and maybe chew up a few holiday calories!
