NYC-based electronic trio House of Blondes is John Blonde, Brian McNamara, and Chris Pace. RCRD LBL has compared the band to GAS, Eno, New Order, and early OMD, and calls their recent single "an atmospheric robot stomper that's equally ready for the closing credits and a dry ice-laden dancefloor." Of the band's debut album Clean Cuts, The Pop! Stereo says, "Clean Cuts is a work of retro futurism that pays tribute to its influences in fine style and had it been released thirty years ago it would have been declared a work of genius.
