Hounds on the Town May 8, 2010

Come to the Walnut Street Parklet in Shadyside (across from the Apple Store) on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. for Hounds on the Town! The Shadyside Chamber of Commerce is hosting Steel City Greyhounds’ fun event where you can meet beautiful greyhounds and see what great companions these sweet, gentle, retired racing dogs make.  Maybe one is just right for you! There will be raffles, music, treats for dogs and people, and information on greyhound adoption, with adoption counselors on hand to answer your questions. Help a loving hound find his way from the fast lane to the most comfortable spot on your couch! Plus, Journeys of Life, a unique gift store at 810 Bellefonte Street, will donate 10 percent of its sales that day to Steel City Greyhounds!
