Hotel Havana’s Ocho Lounge and Restaurant & San Antonio Public Library Foundation Host Birthday Party for Ernest Hemingway July 21, 2011

Join Ocho Lounge & Restaurant and San Antonio Public Library Foundation for a happy hour celebrating Ernest Hemingway’s birthday – a man who loved to run with the bulls and appreciated a good cocktail - on Thursday, July 21.

Ocho’s Signature Hemingway Daiquiris will be on special for $5 all night long and 15% of drink sales to benefit the San Antonio Library Foundation from 5:30-7pm. Free passed tamale appetizers.

Originally built in 1914, the Hotel Havana was reopened in 2010 by hotelier Liz Lambert and Bunkhouse Group and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
