HotDocs Doc Festival April 18, 2007

Celebrating its 14th edition in 2007, Hot Docs will present 100+ films from an estimated 23+ countries between April 19 - 29. In addition to the competitive International Spectrum and Canadian Spectrum programmes, and the World Showcase survey programme, Hot Docs will also highlight regional documentary cinema with the Spotlight on Central & Eastern Europe and Made in Brazil programmes, and will again present the Outstanding Achievement Award Retrospective and Focus on... retrospective programmes. All films in official selection will be receiving their first Toronto showing, with the majority of screenings being world, international, North American or Canadian premieres. For most screenings, directors will be attendance to introduce their films and to participate in post-show Q & A sessions with the audience.
