This two-day class provides a detailed introduction to the use of Stones into your massage practice. Designed to educate and train licensed body workers in the procedure of using stones effectively with massage therapy and energy work with benefit to both therapist and client. Topics covered will include: Stone Thermotherapy, Benefits and Physiological Responses, Indications and Contraindications, Full-Body Stone Placements and Sequence, Contrast Therapy: Hot and Cold Stones, Supplies and Set-up, and Care of your Stones. Please bring each day: Sheets, 3 hand towels, 2 pillow cases, face rest cover, non-scented oil or cream, and water bottle.
