The Hot & Cool Orchestra -- a local quartet playing a variety of musical styles -- will be in concert at The Clubhouse in San Luis Obispo on Sat. March 8. Cover charge is $10 for the 8:30pm show. Singer-guitarist Ted Waterhouse is the band leader, with fiddler Allan Dick, Duane Inglish on accordian, and Fred Murray on standup bass. Songs from their current CD, "Red Beans and Caviar", can be sampled at www.hotandcoolorchestra.com. Consisting mostly of originals, the CD also features a few select covers by the likes of Johnny Cash, Zachary Richards, Stephan Grappeli and David Grisman, Larry Unger, and F. M. Alvarez.
