Horseplay - A History of Equestrian Sports in New Jersey December 30, 2009

This exhibition will explore the rich story of equestrian sports and the continuing contribution of New Jersey artists in capturing the excitement of equestrian sporting life. Guest curator Mary Chandor has selected more than 75 works of fine and decorative art that includes paintings, prints, photographs, historical documents, maps and other works on paper, sculpture, gaming trophies, fine china, textiles, costumes, and riding accessories that convey the deep love of equestrian sports that have made equestrian activity a focal point for the New Jersey populace.Admission:Members are admitted Free of charge$10 / Adults$7 / Children$7 / SeniorsChildren under 3 years of age are FreeFree admission on Thursdays from 5 to 8 p.m. Location: Bickford And Bush-Compton Galleries
