HOPE Animal Shelter Holiday "Pawty" December 13, 2007

HOPE Animal Shelter, Tucson’s only no-kill dog and cat shelter is having a Christmas Bash. Dogs and their owners can don their Christmas attire and head on over to HOPE for an evening of fur-filled fun. The event is free to all…donations gratefully accepted.

HOPE Animal Shelter opened their doors in June and has created a unique environment for the animals in their care. Susan Scherl, Executive Director, says “This event is to help build awareness of our shelter so that we can raise the funds needed to keep HOPE going well into the future. This is a great opportunity for people to enjoy a night out with their dogs and mingle with other animal lovers. All of our cats and dogs will be available for adoption.”

The event will be outdoors with a silent auction being held indoors. Guests will be treated to vegetarian fare generously donated by Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant on Broadway Blvd. Wine, beer and soft drinks will also be available.
