Providence Hospice of Seattle presents "Honoring our Mothers," an event to celebrate the lives of mothers who have died. Through group interaction, program participants will meet on Sunday May 5, 2013, at 2 p.m. to recognize, remember and value their mothers and the experiences that have shaped their lives. The event is free and open to the public.
"Each of us, whether son or daughter, has been shaped by the one who has played the role of mother in our lives," said Jane Fleming, MPM, grief support counselor at Providence Hospice of Seattle. "Join us as we take the opportunity to honor and remember the individuals and the moments that have helped form our lives."
The event will be held at the offices of Providence Hospice of Seattle, 425 Pontius Ave. N., Suite 300, Seattle. It will include education, facilitated discussion, meditation and ritual. Registration is not required, but recommended. To register, please call 206-749-7702.
