Honoring of The Elders June 5, 2009

Each year we organize a special event called “Honoring of the Elders Gathering”, held at the Mt. Madonna Park in Gilroy. This year will be our 24rd annual on (June 5th, 6th, & 7th, 2009). We do not charge for this event, and we offer camping for those that want to stay over the weekend. This is a drug and alcohol free event.

Our purpose is to honor elders by bringing them into the traditional arbor on Sunday. We will sing for them, give them gifts and talk about the importance of keeping our elder generation in a place of honor and respect.
