Honey Sundays is the new weekly residency of San Francisco's Honey Soundsystem in SOMA's Paradise Lounge loft upstairs. Every Sunday Honey continues its tradition of dancefloors filled with timeless music from the golden ages of dance music and evenings filled with local vibes, international special guests, special designs, and cheap flowing libations. This Sunday we welcome Victor Rodriguez from Los Angeles. An influential promoter, Victor assisted in building the L.A. club scene in the late '80s and early 90's through his association with such legendary clubs as White Chocolate, Plastic Passion, and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Currently he presides over the decks at Beige, a thriving weekly event that has consistently drawn a crowd every Tuesday since its inception eleven years ago. Also, through Critter Control, his DJ collective with DJ Chris Bowen, has established a re-birth of the Downtown club culture with their party Shits&Giggles! Playing since before he legally could enter the clubs, Victor has amassed a collection of over 80,000 songs. With genres ranging from 1930's jazz to recent underground dance, he is more than capable of catering to his intended audience. Setting the mood to the needs of the client and partygoers, while still maintaining the unique style that has established him as the influential talent that he is today.
