Honest D & the Steel Reserve is a traditional honky-tonk and western swing band based out of Lansing, MI. After spending much of the last two years playing around the mid-Michigan area they have developed a reputation as one of the most unique and entertaining bands on the scene. Playing a repertoire that draws heavily on the music of Hank Williams, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Horton, and Bob Wills, they've put together a Grand Ole Opry style revue that has pleased crowds night after night. Michigan State University's The State News recently proclaimed them Lansing's own Honky-Tonk Heroes.
