Honens Storytellers: Hong Xu & Denise Clarke February 17, 2013

A musical menagerie awaits audiences of all ages with Honens’ new Family Day tradition. A talking rabbit leads the musical circus. Denise Clarke, Associate Artist of One Yellow Rabbit, narrates Jean de Brunhoff’s The Story of Babar set to the music of Francis Poulenc and guides us through Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals with poems by Ogden Nash. Popular Honens Laureate Hong Xu brings elephants, lions and kangaroos to life with his playful interpretations at the piano.
