The evening features four of the most exciting LGBT rock, pop and hip-hop artists in a one-night concert at the Dragonfly, one of L.A.'s hottest nightclubs. The evening will also feature a DJ, body painting and a number of other added attractions throughout the night.
Headliners Girl in a Coma hail from San Antonio. The rock trio has built a loyal nationwide fan base through years of touring. Following a gig at L.A.’s Knitting Factory in 2006, they met one of their idols, Joan Jett, who immediately signed the band to her own label, Blackheart Records.
Sexy-as-sin bad-boy trans-man hiphopper Katastrophe’s lyrical skills merge with beats, creating a sonic otherworld that snags audiences in a dance-trance while teasing their heads with rhymes that snap, pop and educate. Recently named Producer of the Year by Out Music Awards for his debut album, Katastrophe also is featured in the film "Pick Up The Mic," currently airing on Logo.
All-female pop-punk super-freaks Maxitit serve up a high-energy show in an atmosphere of bubbles, smoke, killer lights, rock-and-roll pyrotechnics and backup hottie dancers The Maxichix. Maxitit is featured in the upcoming movie "Manhattan Minutiae" by Steve Becker.
Swivel is an L.A.-based electro-pop duo has blazed a trail through the L.A. scene, lighting up such classic haunts as the Viper Room, the Pig and Whistle and the Rainbow Room with their powerful harmonies, unforgettable hooks and a kinetic pulse that blurs the line between the electronic and the organic.
All proceeds benefit the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's Homeless Youth Program.
