CHALLENGER LEARNING CENTER SIMULATED SPACE MISSION, "RENDEZVOUS WITH COMET HALLEY". In 2061, Comet Halley is returning to our part of the solar system. A team of astronauts constructs a probe, plots an intercept course, and navigates the spacecraft in search of the comet. The objective is to launch the probe through the tail and collect data for research. Join the crew for this adventure! Join us as the Museum presents educational programming especially planned and priced for our homeschool visitors. All programs align with state and federal grade-level curriculum standards. Groups and individual students are welcome to participate. Make a day of it! If you wish to pack your lunch, several picnic areas are available on the Museum grounds.
