Homelands: Portraits of Ireland and Israel by Gordon Wetmore July 9, 2010

Homelands captures the gentleness and beauty of Ireland and Israel, two countries whose tumultuous histories have fostered a strong sense of identity in their peoples. Gordon Wetmore has created portraits of American presidents, British royalty and various celebrities. Over the last three decades, his painting assignments have taken him all over the world. His work is included in the collections of the Royal Palace of Monaco, the Knessett in Jerusalem, the White House and Harvard, Duke and Emory Universities. He is the founding and current chairman of the Portrait Society of America.
