Home Restaurant Flight Night August 28, 2012

Home Restaurant, Greenwich Village’s beloved “farm to table” dining destination, will be hosting a Flight Night prix-fixe tasting on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. The theme for this installation of Home's Flight Night series will be Riesling Whites from the Finger Lakes, and will feature a four-course dinner with wine pairings. Beverage Director Rachel Dreskin, who specializes in regional New York wines and spirits, has chosen four unique Riesling-style whites that Chef John Cordova has created perfect pairings for, highlighting local NY State produce. Guests can look forward to food and wine pairings such as Warm Peekytoe Crab Salad with Zucchini and an Orange Blossom Beurre Blanc, paired with a Thirsty Owl Semi-Dry Riesling (2010), and Sturgeon in a Roasted Potato and Chorizo Riesling Broth, paired with a Dr. Konstantin Frank Dry Riesling (2010).
