Home on the Canal: Bridge & Lock Tenders Houses on the Delaware & Raritan Canal August 18, 2012

In partnership with The D & R Canal Watch, the Trenton Museum Society presents the first exhibit under its new director. Vintage photographs of 49 bridge and lock tender houses showing the function and architectural characteristics of these structures are included in the exhibit. In addition, paintings, photographs and memorabilia depict how the canal and its feeder impacted the City of Trenton.
