Home Movie Day August 12, 2006

Home Movie Day is an annual, worldwide event organized by amateur film lovers to lure these neglected films out of your attics and closets and onto a screen for everyone to enjoy. Participation is simple: Bring one or more reels of your 8mm, Super8, or 16mm home movies to the event and we'll inspect, repair, and project them on a first-come, first-served basis. Damaged films will not be screened but preservation specialists will offer expert advice on caring for at-risk materials. No films of your own? Just come and watch the show! It's free!
