Randy Tat's "Tutto Flauto" created by especially for The Zimmer Children's Museum for their ultra special Show & Tell: The Art of
Harmony Exhibit will benefit "youTHink" the museum's innovative art and education program serving public school students throughout California. This highly creative exhibition, curated by Artist Kate Stern, features works of art using various musical instruments as the theme by Mr. Tat and 75 other renowned artists, humanitarians and social activists. 100 % of all sales proceeds will be donated to this wonderful outreach program.

Randy Tat's art piece known as "Tutto Flauto" is a hand-crafted piece that transforms an actual flute into a stunning silver baroque candelabra that could have easily once adorned the halls of the majestic 15th century Odescalchi Castle overlooking Lake Bracciano outside Rome, Italy. This unique piece is embellished by a series of jeweled accessories including: turquoise, mother of pearl, Baroque pendants, briolettes, lavender quartz, iridescent jewels and vintage musical charms. Tat's three-tiered work maintains the integrity of the flute as a center core which is attached without welding or soldering. Miniature Italian porcelain musicians decorate the sides of the swirling arms, which combines sky-blue coloring with gold glitter, giving it a heavenly, angelic feel while flames flicker.

Working all facets of the entertainment industry for over 20 years, Randy has been an integral part of many shows and films in the Entertainment industry, such as An Officer and a Gentleman, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Black Widow, Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, The Emmy Awards, Rendez -Vous, Innocent Love, Family Ties, The Cosby Show, Matlock, The Golden Girls, Hard copy, Extra, The Tonight Show, Night Court, Bob Hope Specials, Crime Story and NBC Sports just to name a few. Randy's days include developing TV and film productions, coordination of marketing strategies and casting, supervising business and legal affairs, management, and much more....yet he has found the key that keeps his hectic life richly inspired, balanced and alive.

"I love to paint! (Smiles) I've been painting ever since I was a kid, and when I moved to Los Angeles one of my goals was to exhibit my works and sell paintings. I came up with the idea of these "Tat on the Wall" exhibits. For every show I would paint 25 to 30 paintings, and transform raw loft spaces and warehouses with my design and lighting ideas into a gallery space- then realized I had created much more just a gallery - I redesigned an environment to suit my artworks. My love for designing interior spaces was born."

"I've been working on a lot of design projects this last year. Working on several modern spaces as well as French country and classic luxury. I love to incorporate the modern, luxury feeling of a boutique hotel with all the embellishments. You can live in a rural town, yet if your tastes are such, feel like your living space is in some chic Manhattan loft or penthouse. Your environment can dramatically change your mind set- give you the relaxation and the calmness we all need in this day and age or spark the creativeness that propels us in our lives. Life can be so chaotic and complicated that we need to find serenity and inspiration within our space. Clutter gets in the way of our journey... we need to cleanse...maintain our spaces and strive for them to be functional and easy to live in."

"I'm very sensitive and in touch with capturing the richness and visual balance within a space. I like to create surprises within my design concept... the turn of an eye... something visually stunning... spaces may change during different times of the day. I want my client to look forward to the evening... with candles, warm lights and Zen like surroundings... I want them to wake-up to bright, calm lights... soothing colors, shapes, and forms... creating all sorts of layers and levels... You gotta have that Wow Factor!!! In every space I try to strive for balance and visual details... spontaneity... I want my clients to be moved... I want them to be blown away - I want them to smell the flowers and feel the drama when they walk into their space, hear the classical jazz in the beat of the music as they retreat at the end of a hard day... I want them to wake up and smell the jasmine as they drink their coffee to the humming of the birds.... corny huh??? I hope to be able to share my art and soul with whomever is willing to take a look... I'm styling my future as I sit here and create.........Randy Tat
