Come and watch the 22nd annual Reston Holiday Parade at 11 am, featuring Macy’s-style balloons, musicians, dancers, antique cars, and much more. This one-of-a-kind, one-hour parade along Market Street welcomes the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus in a horse-drawn carriage. This year’s theme is “Come Out to Play”, inspired by all kinds of fun games. The Reston Holiday Parade is held rain or shine, and has been an annual tradition on the day after Thanksgiving since 1991. Enjoy a full day of cheer and charity, beginning with the Gingerbread Man Mile for Kids at 8 a.m., visits and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 12:30 until 4:30 p.m., the Tree Lighting and Sing Along at 6 p.m., and horse-drawn carriage rides from 6:30 until 10:00 p.m. More details are available at www.restontowncenter.com/holidays.
